Giancarlo Fisichella of 231 participations and 3 victories in F1, who is now a successful Endurance Race driver, has been in Mykonos for a few 24 hours, who together with other Formula 1 pilots and two-wheel drivers will participate in a kart race with the aim of raising public awareness of road safety.

The founder of the organization safe-drive.org and representative of the Nazionale Piloti in Greece, Kostas Mastorakis, in collaboration with the President of the pilots' football team, Mario di Natale, are organizing for the second year in a row the "friendly" karting race at the Kartland track Aegean island.

This year the appointment is scheduled for August 24 and the list of drivers and riders who have already checked in their tickets to Mykonos is impressive:

- Giancarlo Fisichella of 231 races and 3 wins in F1, who is now a successful Endurance Racing driver

- Tony Liuzzi, ex-Formula 1 driver and current FIA race referee

- Riccardo Patrese, former F1 driver with 257 GP, 6 wins, 8 poles and 37 podiums

- Ivan Kapeli, former F1 driver with 3 podiums in 98 races

- Luca Filippi, former Indycar driver, Formula E, GP2

- Marco Bezecchi, Mooney VR46 Racing rider in MotoGP, with 2 wins in 29 starts

- Franco Morbidelli, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP rider, with 3 wins in 91 starts

- The legendary Giacomo Agostini, of 8 500cc titles and 10 wins at the TT Isle of Man

- Vito Popolizio, former racing driver

- Maro Engel, endurance race and DTM driver

For those who don't know, the Nazionale Piloti is the Formula 1 drivers' football team - members of the team are current drivers as well as F1 drivers who have hung up their racing jerseys - which has been around for 40 years.

The Nazionale Piloti has managed to collect 16 million euros for charitable actions, through the races it has given over the years.

In our country we had the pleasure of seeing the team in question at the Karaiskaki Stadium in August 2006 at the Stadium of Atromitos in Peristeri in 2007 and also in 2022 in Mykonos with Max Biaggi being the only two-wheeled star who attended the event.

Το ραντεβού προγραμματίζεται για τις 24 Αυγούστου - Αναλυτικά, η λίστα με τους οδηγούς.

Στη Μύκονο βρίσκεται εδώ και μερικά 24ωρα ο Τζιανκάρλο Φιζικέλα των 231 συμμετοχών και 3 νικών στην F1, που είναι πλέον επιτυχημένος οδηγός Αγώνων Αντοχής, ο οποίος μαζί με άλλους πιλότους της Formula 1, αλλά και οδηγούς των δυο τροχών θα συμμετάσχουν σε αγώνα καρτ με σκοπό την ευαισθητοποίηση των πολιτών για την οδική ασφάλεια.

Ο ιδρυτής του οργανισμού safe-drive.org και εκπρόσωπος της Nazionale Piloti στην Ελλάδα, Κώστας Μαστοράκης, σε συνεργασία με τον Πρόεδρο της ποδοσφαιρικής ομάδας των πιλότων, Mario di Natale, διοργανώνουν για δεύτερη συνεχή χρονιά τον «φιλικό» αγώνα karting στην πίστα Kartland του νησιού του Αιγαίου.

Φέτος το ραντεβού είναι προγραμματισμένο για τις 24 Αυγούστου και η λίστα οδηγών και αναβατών που έχουν ήδη κάνει check in τα εισιτήρια τους με προορισμό τη Μύκονο, είναι εντυπωσιακή:

- Ο Τζιανκάρλο Φιζικέλα των 231 συμμετοχών και 3 νικών στην F1, που είναι πλέον επιτυχημένος οδηγός Αγώνων Αντοχής

- Ο Τόνιο Λιούτσι, πρώην οδηγός της Formula 1 και νυν αγωνοδίκης της Παγκόσμιας Ομοσπονδίας Μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού

- O Ρικάρντο Πατρέζε, πρώην οδηγός της F1 με 257 GP, 6 νίκες, 8 pole και 37 βάθρα

- O Ιβάν Καπέλι, πρώην οδηγός της F1 με 3 βάθρα σε 98 συμμετοχές

- O Λούκα Φιλίπι, πρώην οδηγός Indycar, Formula E, GP2

- Ο Μάρκο Μπεζέκι, αναβάτης της Mooney VR46 Racing στο MotoGP, με 2 νίκες σε 29 εκκινήσεις

- O Φράνκο Μορμπιντέλι, αναβάτης της Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP, με 3 νίκες σε 91 εκκινήσεις

- O θρυλικός Τζιάκομο Αγκοστίνι, των 8 τίτλων στα 500cc και των 10 νικών στο TT Isle of Man

- Ο Βίτο Ποπολίτσιο, πρώην οδηγός αγώνων

- O Μάρο Ένγκελ, οδηγός αγώνων αντοχής και του DTM

Για όσους δεν γνωρίζουν, η Nazionale Piloti είναι η ποδοσφαιρική ομάδα των πιλότων της Formula 1 -τα μέλη της ομάδας είναι εν ενεργεία οδηγοί αλλά και οδηγοί της F1 που έχουν κρεμάσει τις αγωνιστικές τους φόρμες- η οποία υπάρχει εδώ και 40 χρόνια.

Η Nazionale Piloti έχει καταφέρει να συγκεντρώσει 16 εκατ. ευρώ για κοινωφελείς δράσεις, μέσω των αγώνων που έχει δώσει όλα αυτά τα χρόνια.

Στην χώρα μας είχαμε την χαρά να δούμε την εν λόγω ομάδα στο Στάδιο Καραϊσκάκη τον Αύγουστο του 2006 στο Γήπεδο του Ατρομήτου στο Περιστέρι το 2007 αλλά και το 2022 στη Μύκονο με τον Max Biaggi να είναι ο μοναδικός αστέρας των δύο τροχών που παρευρέθηκε στην διοργάνωση.
